2019-2020 Fellow Rebecca MacKinnon, Director of Ranking Digital Rights at New America and Co-Founder of Global Voices, participated in a September 2019 pop-up panel at UC Irvine titled “Hong Kong on the Edge: A Pop-Up Panel on Protest and Repression in a City in Crisis.” The panel was hosted by the UCI Forum for the Academy and the Public, an initiative the Center co-sponsors.
