In January of 2019, the Center’s Executive Director, Michelle Deutchman, gave a keynote address on the topic of free speech and safety on campus at a professional development session at Irvine Community College. In her presentation, she highlights the many pressing challenges to free speech on campus and offers suggestions for educators and administrators on how to address them.
