In January of 2020, the Center’s Executive Director, Michelle Deutchman, spoke to a group of hundreds of eighth grade students at South Lake Middle School in Irvine, CA. In her speech, she discussed the fundamentals of free speech in the United States and introduced the students to their rights and responsibilities under the First Amendment.
