The cornerstone of the Center’s annual programming is our #SpeechMatters conference which brings together students, administrators, activists, and thought leaders from around the country to discuss the most pressing issues of free speech and civic engagement on campus. Our eighth annual #SpeechMatters conference, “Preserving the Pillars of Free Expression,” will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026.
